SWP FUN FACTS - Facebook Advertising

"75% of Brand "Likes" on Facebook come from advertisements." - Mashable

Now don't be fooled about the importance of this quote because it is so short. This says so much about how companies are branding themselves, and how they are getting the attention of all of these Facebook users by simply using ads. With consumers having so much on their minds it is hard for them to remember what they even log onto Facebook for, but with a simple friendly reminder of your company, you can steal the focus and attention of consumers. Do not let your competition beat you out because of your inability to make yourself seen.

  1. 75% of brand likes come from advertisements... and 95% of those likes are from fake accounts based in 3rd world countries.

Using Facebook ads for page likes is a waste of money and only serves to decrease the reach of your posts to actual people who might actually interact with them. But if all you care about is having a huge number of likes, I guess you might not care about that.

  5. I'm not really sure about the meaning of advertisement in such case as Facebook's likes. There are a lot of different types of pages and most of them are pages of stars. They don't need advertisement at all and places like free teen cam show don't need that either. So, just go and enjoy.
